World Of Coffee Jakarta 2025

Brewing Stillness with Mikael Jasin
Loveramics at WOC Jakarta

From a city deeply rooted in coffee culture, World of Coffee Jakarta 2025 offered a refreshing perspective on what it means to gather, share, and grow as a community in specialty coffee. This year marked a special milestone for us at Loveramics — our first-ever booth presence in Indonesia, and the debut of a meaningful collaboration with an old friend and coffee visionary, Mikael Jasin. Inspired by his philosophy of stillness and presence, we embraced the theme “Breathe In, Brew Out” — a subtle reminder to slow down and find intention in every cup you brew.

A Landmark Edition for World of Coffee Asia

Organized by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), World of Coffee has long been one of the most respected events in the specialty coffee industry. Typically held in European cities, this year’s expansion to Jakarta, Indonesia marked the first WOC event hosted in Southeast Asia and one of the rare occasions it's been staged in a coffee-producing country [1].

Indonesia, ranked among the top five global coffee producers [2], was a fitting backdrop. The country’s complex history with coffee, from colonial roots to vibrant third-wave culture, made it a meaningful location for this growing global event.

According to the SCA, highlights of WOC Jakarta 2025 included:
Global and regional exhibitors;
Industry-focused panel discussions and workshops;
Roaster Villages and brew bars;
The World Brewers Cup 2025, which brought international brewing talent to the stage. [1]

For many attendees, it was a unique opportunity to connect not only with global brands and professionals, but also with the people and places at the very origin of coffee.

Our First Booth in Indonesia: A Meaningful Debut

We were truly excited to host our first-ever booth in Indonesia at this year’s event — and the experience exceeded expectations. Over three fast-moving days, we connected with new friends and longtime followers in a setting filled with creativity, conversation, and coffee.

We debuted our new booth setup, featuring a full ceramic wall display — tiled in warm, earthy tones and lined with rows upon rows of colorful Loveramics cups. It was more than a backdrop — it became a focal point where people stopped, chatted, took photos, and connected through design and coffee.

A special highlight of WOC Jakarta was the unveiling of our Loveramics x Mikael Jasin Tasting Cups — a collaboration that means a great deal to us.

The Set of 3 Gift Set is inspired by Mikael’s coffee philosophy, moments of stillness in an otherwise fast-moving world. Each cup is engraved in Braille with the word meaning “breathe,” reminding us to pause, reflect, and find presence in the ritual of coffee.
It was a privilege to launch this design in Mikael’s home country — and to celebrate the thoughtful ethos that Mikael brings to both coffee and life.

Gratitude to the Roasters and Baristas

Our booth wouldn’t have been the same without the incredible lineup of roasters and baristas who joined us. Their energy, generosity, and craft brought our space to life and created a sense of community we’ll never forget.

A Coffee Hour with Mikael Jasin

One of the most memorable moments at our booth was the Specialty Roaster Session on day 2, featuring none other than Mikael Jasin himself. Guests got to enjoy coffee time with Mikael, chat about the story behind our collaboration, and — for a lucky few — walked away with a personally signed Loveramics x Mikael Jasion Set of 3 Tasting Cups Gift Set by the champ himself.

It was a fun, relaxed hour of tasting, storytelling, and a few good laughs — exactly how we love to celebrate design and coffee.

Coffee is not just about brewing or drinking. It’s about connection, design, and experience. World of Coffee Jakarta 2025 marked a meaningful beginning for Loveramics in Indonesia, and we eager to return, reconnect, and continue the journey together.
As we look forward to future editions of World of Coffee — whether in Asia, Europe, or USA — we remain committed to creating objects that bring beauty, stillness, and reflection into the lives of coffee lovers worldwide.
