Crafting a Shared Experience
Through Design, Innovation, and Coffee Culture

The World of Coffee Geneva 2025, held from June 26 to June 28, was a dynamic gathering that brought together the global coffee community in a celebration of craftsmanship, innovation, and competition. On the opening day, thousands of coffee professionals flooded the venue, eager to explore new products, exchange ideas, and witness the world’s top baristas and coffee experts compete in some of the most prestigious competitions in the industry. Among the most exciting stages this year were the World Latte Art Championship (WLAC), World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship (WCIGS), World Cup Tasters Championship (WCTC), and the Cezve/Ibrik Championship, each showcasing a unique aspect of the coffee craft.
These competitions not only highlight the exceptional skills of the participants but also reflect the diverse methods and cultural traditions that make coffee so special. From the intricate artistry of latte pouring to the precision required for brewing in the Cezve, each stage served as a testament to the depth of expertise in the coffee world.

Coffee as a Collective Craft: Loveramics' Role in Shaping the Experience

At the heart of the coffee world lies a deep sense of community—where baristas, roasters, and enthusiasts come together to share not just coffee, but passion, expertise, and purpose. The World of Coffee Geneva was a vivid reminder that the art of brewing coffee is a collective endeavor. It’s about more than just the beans or the machines; it’s about creating an experience that resonates with all the senses.

World of Coffee Geneva

As we work with leading roasters and baristas, we are reminded that the coffee experience is as much about the object that holds the coffee as it is about the coffee itself. Every coffee cup, every ceramic piece we create, is a small but integral part of the ritual—a ritual that allows individuals to connect with the artistry of coffee. This belief in the power of design to enhance experience is what drives us.

Design as the Bridge Between Functionality and Culture

At Loveramics, we understand that the best coffee products don’t just perform well—they connect with the people who use them. Our products are more than just vessels for coffee; they are tools that facilitate the ritual of brewing, tasting, and sharing coffee. The World of Coffee Geneva provided a chance for us to showcase how our ceramics support and elevate these rituals.

For us, this is not just about function; it’s about the deeper cultural connection that comes with every brew. The right ceramic piece doesn’t merely serve its purpose—it becomes an extension of the experience itself. When baristas pour their carefully brewed espresso into a Loveramics cup, the ceramic’s tactile feel, its balance, and its design all come together to create a moment of stillness—a moment that allows the coffee’s aroma, flavor, and texture to shine.

Innovation and Sustainability: Driving Forces of Change

At the World of Coffee Geneva, we saw how innovation in the coffee world is often driven by a desire to do more with less—whether that’s using more sustainable sourcing practices, developing new brewing techniques, or creating products that enhance the coffee experience. This aligns with our own approach to design, where we are constantly looking for ways to make our ceramics not only functional but environmentally responsible.

Sustainability is a central pillar of the coffee community’s future, and we believe that every step towards reducing waste, using eco-friendly materials, and embracing thoughtful design is a step toward a better world. Our collaboration with roasters who share these values further strengthens our commitment to contributing to a more sustainable coffee culture.

A Shared Vision: Coffee as a Journey, Not a Destination

The beauty of coffee lies in its journey. It’s the story of where the beans are grown, how they are roasted, how they are brewed, and how they are enjoyed. At events like the World of Coffee Geneva, we are reminded that coffee is a shared experience—a community endeavor that transcends individual cups and blends into something larger than the sum of its parts.

As we look to the future, we remain committed to enhancing that journey. Whether it’s through collaborating with visionary roasters, partnering with talented baristas, or designing ceramics that elevate the coffee experience, we are driven by one simple idea: that the best coffee experiences are those that connect us to each other and to the craft that unites us all.
